Our Visit to Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas

My son is a very big fan of Peppa Pig.  Once my husband showed him photos from Peppa Pig World – Dallas website. He believed that those were real photos of Peppa pig. He was insisting to visit ‘Peppa Pigs house’ since then.

‘Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas’ at Grapevine Mills is an indoor play center. It is specifically designed for toddlers & preschool children. It has theme areas related to characters from Peppa Pig cartoon show.

We visited Peppa Pig World of Play last weekend. It was our first visit to Grapevine Mills mall. The mall itself was bigger than we expected. It features 180 stores for shopping, entertainment, eateries. They have multiple attractions for kids – LEGOLAND Discovery Center, SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium, Rainforest Cafe, Peppa Pig World of Play & Fieldhouse.

We had booked our tickets online to avoid delays. Tickets were $40 (including all taxes) for a combo of child and an adult. Additional adults would have cost us $9.99 extra. So, my husband chose to wander across the mall while me and my son went inside to play.

You can visit Peppa Pig World of Play Tickets | Peppa Pig World Dallas to book the tickets in advance.

This was the entrance.

There was no queue for tickets. We were admitted inside with blue wrist band. My phone number was written across my son’s wrist band for emergencies.

  • Grandad Dogs Garage

Our first stop was the garage. Multiple small bikes were parked in front of it for kids to ride. The area was small for multiple kids riding bikes at once. My son ‘Harsh’ enjoyed riding bike and putting gas multiple times at gas stations. There was a pretend wash area where kids stood in line with their bikes.

  • Grandpa Pigs Play Area

This was an interesting one with multiple activities. There were beautiful statues of Grandpa pig & Grandma Pig.

  1. First there was garden with flowers & even pretend tomatoes. It was beautiful.
  2. Chicken coop with eggs & chicken in it.
  3. Grandpa Pigs train with multiple seats for kids.

  • Peppa Pigs House

You could actually go into Peppa’s house and explore their kitchen and living room.

Kitchen was equipped with multiple toys for kids to play with. They could make sandwich with variety of ingredient or play with fridge magnets. Oven had a beautiful pizza cooking into it. We enjoyed calling grandad dog from the kitchen telephone.

Living room was elegant with sofa, TV & Goldie fish. Polly Parrot had escaped Grandpa pigs house and was waiting for us at Peppas 😊

  • Rebecca Rabbits Underground House

This one was creative. We had to remove our shoes to enter inside.

You can climb over carrots & come sliding from other side.  This wasn’t suitable for small babies. Even we skipped it.

Younger ones were playing with blocks and small tunnels inside the house. Harsh loved exploring the tunnels here. Rebecca was repeatedly shouting ‘squeak- squeak’. Harsh wanted to find where she was. And was annoyed when he couldn’t find her.

  • Muddy Puddles

Jumping into interactive muddy puddles was fun. Peppa pig & her family were right Infront of us on big screen. They were jumping along with us. The more we jumped, the more they followed us & got muddier.

  • Peppa’s Car

My son has big fascination towards car. Peppas red car is his favorite. Even in mall parking, he was searching for Peppas car. When he found Peppas car here, he was more than exited. We drove on Peppas car for quite a while.

  • Peppa’s Treehouse & George’s Fort

These 2 structures are incredible. But for older and confident kids. My shy son was too afraid to go into George’s fort.

We climbed into Peppa’s treehouse. Used the slide to come down. We dint spend much time here.

  • Miss Rabbits Supermarket

This was a big hit. We shopped in the supermarket, checked out our groceries, paid the money and did it all over and over.

Kids were helping each other in checking out, finding matching grocery items. Computer was adding up our items and telling us the amount to pay. It was lot of fun here.

  • School Bus

Peppas School bus was parked with Madam Gazelle standing in front. Little kids were loving it. More than anything else, they loved banging on the windows of the bus.

This can be fun, if you have bigger group of kids. They can interact and pretend to ride on the bus with songs and play.

  • Missus Duck & Her Chicks

We also spotted misses Duck and her chicks playing around. We helped them to arrange the blocks.

  • Met Peppa

My son couldn’t believe he met his star Peppa. Only thing he was wondering was – “Why is Peppa so big.”

We stood in line along with other kids and got photos clicked with Peppa. But George was missing here. So, we got photos clicked with duplicate George later.

  • Theatre

The theatre had Peppa pig cartoon running in repeat mode. It had cozy beds for kids to tuck in & enjoy their favorite show. While many parents were insisting on going out and playing, the real Peppa pig fans were adamant in staying back & watching the show.

  • Searching Georges Dinasaur

We all are aware about George’s liking for Dinasaur. Almost all kids have fascination towards Dinasaur. You could follow Dinasaur footprints here and find big dinosaurs. Children loved the tracing challenge & jumping over fluffy cushioned structures here.

  • Other Amenities

It has clean washrooms & even a food truck with a small picnic area if you are hungry. It has a separate party area if you are interested in hosting birthday party for your kid.

You get around 2 hours to play and explore all the areas. At the end of your play time, you will be called by the staff to proceed to exit. At exit you will find multiple Peppa Pig goodies like – Water bottles, t-shirts, bags, toys. We dint buy any as they were little overpriced.

To sum it up, it was a good experience. If your kids love Peppa Pig, they will definitely love this playhouse.
